Richard D. Slack, Chief Executive Officer
Richard Slack is Oildex, a service of Transzap, Inc.'s President and Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the strategic direction, operations and growth of the company. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with the majority dedicated to developing, marketing, and selling software products and services. Prior to joining Oildex, Richard held a variety of senior level strategic operations roles at leading software technology companies in the oil and gas industry. Under his guidance, two of the companies that he most recently led were recognized as some of the fastest growing companies in the North America by Inc. magazine and Deloitte Consulting. Richard holds a B.A. degree in Geology from the University of California and an M.S. degree in Geophysics from the University of Houston.
Craig Charlton, President
As President for Oildex, Craig Charlton leads the day-to-day operations with a focus on sales, account management, marketing, and client services. Craig has over 20 years’ experience leading companies, both at the division general manager level and the CEO level. Craig began his career as a consultant with Grant Thornton in Australia where he formed a business focused on Epicor ERP. Epicor subsequently purchased that business and Craig joined Epicor as Vice President – Australia & New Zealand before eventually progressing to running the entire Asia Pacific region for Epicor. Most recently, Craig was CEO of Abila, an AKKR portfolio company, where he helped improve operational efficiencies over the course of a few months prior to their recent sale. Craig has made a positive impact on all businesses that he has been affiliated with. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Accounting & Finance from Monash University in Australia.
Marc Arseneau, Chief Financial Officer
As Oildex’s chief financial officer, Marc Arseneau leads the finance, treasury and accounting functions as well as the human resources and legal teams. Marc has over 25 years of experience in software and services as a financial leader. Most recently, Marc held a variety of senior positions at TeleTech, a public global customer experience company including CFO at Revana, a TeleTech subsidiary, SVP of financial planning and global controller of TeleTech. Prior to TeleTech, Marc has held a variety of senior strategic and operational finance positions at TriZetto, Microsoft and Cap Gemini. Marc holds a B.S. degree in Finance and International Business from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Michael Weiss, Chief Technology Officer
Michael Weiss is Oildex's Chief Technology Officer and has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas software engineering and high-tech operations. Prior to joining Oildex, Mike served as a CTO at WellPoint Systems and Vice President of Software Development for Halliburton Energy Solutions. He has corporate experience in companies with scale and maturity ranging from startup through billion dollar international environments. He’s spent his career working with software and technology teams that consistently deliver break-thru solutions in B2B and B2C environments. Mike holds a B.S. In Computer Science from the State University of New York.
Mike Donaldson, SVP Strategic Marketing
As Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing for Oildex, Mike’s focuses on go to market strategy, branding, lead generation, product marketing, customer marketing and marketing technology. Mike brings more than 20 years’ experience in strategic marketing, business development and software development to Oildex, having most recently served as Vice President, Marketing at Eventus Solutions Group. Prior to joining Oildex, Mike also held senior leadership roles for high growth software companies including Ping Identity, New Era of Networks and CrossWorlds Software. Earlier in his career, he spent several years with Exxon. Mike holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Jeff White, VP Client Services
Jeff joined Oildex in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager earning roles with increasing responsibility culminating in his appointment to VP of Client Services in 2015. He is responsible for the leadership and direction of several departments including Project Implementations, Technical Integrations, Supplier Onboarding, and Customer Support. With over 15 years of Oil & Gas Accounting and Procurement experience, Jeff’s background includes 5 years at Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OXY) where he was responsible for Joint Interest Billing and served as a Financial Analyst for the Global Supply Chain department. Jeff also spent a year with Offshore International Group as their Senior Accountant and International liaison managing all accounting and procurement activity for its Peru operations. Jeff holds a Bachelor in Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Houston Baptist University.
