Richard D. Slack, President / Chief Executive Officer
Richard Slack is Oildex, a service of Transzap, Inc.'s President and Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the strategic direction, operations and growth of the company. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with the majority dedicated to developing, marketing, and selling software products and services. Prior to joining Oildex, Mr. Slack held a variety of senior level strategic operations roles at leading software technology companies in the oil and gas industry. Under his guidance, two of the companies that he most recently led were recognized as some of the fastest growing companies in the North America by Inc. magazine and Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Slack holds a B.A. degree in Geology from the University of California and an M.S. degree in Geophysics from the University of Houston
Marc Arseneau, Chief Financial Officer
As Oildex’s chief financial officer, Marc Arseneau leads the finance, treasury and accounting functions as well as the human resources and legal teams. Mr. Arseneau has over 25 years of experience in software and services as a financial leader. Most recently, Mr. Arseneau held a variety of senior positions at TeleTech, a public global customer experience company including CFO at Revana, a TeleTech subsidiary, SVP of financial planning and global controller of TeleTech. Prior to TeleTech, Mr. Arseneau has held a variety of senior strategic and operational finance positions at TriZetto, Microsoft and Cap Gemini. Mr. Arseneau holds a B.S. degree in Finance and International Business from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Michael Weiss, Chief Technology Officer
Michael Weiss is Oildex's Chief Technology Officer and has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas software engineering and high-tech operations. Prior to joining Oildex, Mr. Weiss served as a CTO at WellPoint Systems and Vice President of Software Development for Halliburton Energy Solutions. He has corporate experience in companies with scale and maturity ranging from startup through billion dollar international environments. He’s spent his career working with software and technology teams that consistently deliver break-thru solutions in B2B and B2C environments. Mr. Weiss holds a B.S. In Computer Science from the State University of New York.
Steve Carothers, Vice President, Sales and Business Development
Steve Carothers is the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Oildex. His leadership responsibilities focus on software growth from direct sales, partnerships and developing new revenue programs. A proven and versatile leader with over 25 years of experience, Steve previously served in senior positions in sales and strategic partner alliances at Hyperion Solutions and Ariba/SAP. Most recently, he led initiatives resulting in growing Ariba/SAP’s invoice automation software bookings in the Oil and Gas sector over 300% in a two year period. As Regional Vice President at Hyperion Solutions he built and led the largest, most successful sales region in the Americas. Mr. Carothers earned B.S. degrees from Miami University in Economic Geography and Urban Planning.
Jennifer Beaupre, Vice President, Marketing
Jennifer Beaupre is the Vice President of Marketing for Oildex. Having worked in senior leadership positions for high growth software companies including Textbroker International, TapInfluennce, Acrolinx and SDL, she delivers innovative solutions for revenue growth and brand recognition. Her expertise in corporate communications, public relations, digital marketing, and branding has results consistent company growth and industry recognition including listings in the Inc 5000 and Gartner cool vendor awards. She is a frequent speaker on marketing best practices and contributor to leading publications. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado with a B.A. degree and is fluent in Spanish.
Jeff White, VP Client Services
Jeff joined Oildex in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager earning roles with increasing responsibility culminating in his appointment to VP of Client Services in 2015. He is responsible for the leadership and direction of several departments including Project Implementations, Technical Integrations, Supplier Onboarding, and Customer Support. With over 15 years of Oil & Gas Accounting and Procurement experience, Jeff’s background includes 5 years at Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OXY) where he was responsible for Joint Interest Billing and served as a Financial Analyst for the Global Supply Chain department. Jeff also spent a year with Offshore International Group as their Senior Accountant and International liaison managing all accounting and procurement activity for its Peru operations. Jeff holds a Bachelor in Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Houston Baptist University.
