Paper is still everywhere in an industry that processes 144 million invoices, 60 million royalty check stubs and 240 million payment transactions flowing between thousands of operators, tens of thousands of suppliers and millions of royalty rights owners.
At Oildex, our mission is to eliminate all the paper, manual processing and data entry from the oil & gas industry so companies of all types can reduce costs and increase efficiency. We’ve had great success so far, having seen some of our operators achieve nearly 100% electronic invoices. But we’ve really just begun. Our most recent initiative targets another pervasive paper document in oil and gas, the ubiquitous field ticket. We are privately held and backed by Accel-KKR. As Vice President and General Manager of Data Exchange and Business Relations, Jeff leads all sales and operations of CDEX, Data Conversion Services, JIB and Owner Relations products & services.
Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with 12 years of enterprise software sales and sales management experience. Prior to joining Oildex, Jeff served as Vice President of Sales at Seven Lakes Technologies, where he focused on enterprise workflow, and reporting and analytics solutions for Finance, Accounting, Production, Drilling, Completions and Operations professionals. Prior to that Jeff sold and led a sales team in North America that delivered OpenInvoice to more than 70 E&P companies. Jeff began his sales career in the services sector, where he focused on staffing (mainly IT and Finance/Accounting) as well as sales management and customer service training for both companies and individuals. As Vice President of Sales and Account Management for Oildex, Morris (Mo) is accountable for revenue generating activities with new and existing clients.
Mo has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily focused on ensuring customer success by envisioning and delivering differentiating software and service solutions. Before joining Oildex, Mo held a number of sales executive, sales operations, and global account management roles with leading oil and gas technology companies including Landmark Graphics, Paradigm Geophysical, Drillinginfo, and ION Geophysical. His corporate experience ranges from multi-billion dollar global enterprises to early stage companies with a domestic focus. As Director of Research & Development, Data Exchange Services for Oildex, Eric manages operations and development of the Owner Relations and Data Exchange platforms.
Eric has more than 20 years of experience in programming and software development. At a young age, Eric co-founded a web development and consulting firm, Elite Software & Consulting, where he was the lead software developer. Eric then moved to PDS where he developed the CDEX exchange platform that became an industry leader. Eric led the development of the largest owner relations platform in the industry. While working at PDS, Eric also co-founded a start-up boutique record label. Eric holds a B.S. in computer science from Texas State University.
As Vice President, Development for Oildex, Lynn manages the product development for the payables and supply chain product line.
Lynn has more than 27 years of experience in software and development, 15 of which was spent in leadership roles. Most recently, Lynn managed the enterprise technology group where she formalized the cybersecurity program at Oildex as well as establishing the user experience program. Lynn’s background includes five years at ADP where she led development organizations for Procure-to–Pay and MasterTax product suites. As Vice President, Application and Innovation for Oildex, Rich leads the architecture strategy, processes, and practices across all Oildex software development.
Rich is responsible for industry best practices and ensuring tools are in place for software development. Rich has more than 20 years of experience in software engineering, 10 of which were in senior leadership roles. Prior to joining Oildex, Rich held senior leadership positions for various sized organizations, from start-up to large enterprises, including, Levels Beyond, Wellpoint Systems, Xcel Energy and Nike. As Vice President – Product, Payables & Supply Chain, Jeff is responsible for product strategy, product management and product marketing for Oildex’s Payables & Supply Chain business unit.
With over 15 years of oil & gas accounting and procurement experience, Jeff’s background includes five years at Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OXY) where he was responsible for Joint Interest Billing and served as a financial analyst for the Global Supply Chain department. Jeff also spent a year with Offshore International Group as their senior accountant and international liaison managing all accounting and procurement activity for its Peru operations.
